pretty excited for some things to come…

Other than reblogging pictures, posting some of my poetry, my design work, and ideas for my clothing line…I’ve never really done an actual post about events that are soon to come in my life. So I’m going to do so, right now. I’m a Graphic Design artist, and plan on going back to school in the fall to get my degree in Multimedia Technology. Which, I want to mainly work for a record label or bands (by saying this, i mean hire me to design an album, merch, or even tour flyers) on the side, and also a full-time job of working in an office/cubical, behind an actual desk. I plan on having my own studio, which would be where I was to do work while I was to be at home.

  • There is a very strong possibility that I soon will be offered a job as a Graphic Designer for a car decal shop, where I would be making around 1,000 bucks a month, if not more. I will be designing, printing, and cutting decals and/or vinyl that will also be put on a vehicle by me, and the owner. It’s not much, but I’d rather do that than spend the next year pretty much doing nothing with the talent I’ve been told that I have.

I’m a modern-day greaser, if you would want to actually put a label on me. But my whole life I was raised around cars, antique cars to add more interest to where I’m going with this. My grandpa has a 1966 Maroon Brown Chevelle SS that he’s owned throughout my entire life, and my father’s. My father actually drove it while he was in high school, he also has owned a 1972 Blue/Blue Chevrolet Pick-Up since the year it was released. Both vehicles were my great grandparents, which neither me or my father got to meet my great grandpa (his grandpa) because he actually died in 1972 while driving the 1966 Chevelle SS back from having hernia surgery, which he had a overlooked blood clot and ‘caused him to have a heart attack while driving. He also owns the “grand-daddy” of them all, the well-known 1955 White/Red Chevrolet Bell-Air in mint condition, which someone offered him 35-40,000 dollars for and he declined it.

  • In spring of this year, I’m going to be having a photoshoot with my girlfriend. Which, will include the 1955 White/Red Chevrolet Bell-Air, the Maroon Brown 1966 Chevelle SS, and the Blue/Blue 1972 Chevrolet Pick-Up, in an oldschool theme. I’m going to get a bunch of outfits together, and then finish talking to my grandpa about it. It’s probably going to be on April 26th, 2012, which will be two years that me and Skyla have been together. It’s worth keeping an eye out for, ‘cause all three cars have won hundreds of awards for how gorgeous they are.
