found this picture of my girlfriend on my computer, guess she forgot to delete it before i found it. hahahaha, she gonna be mad at me.

This past week was pretty fun.

I spent the majority of the week with my girlfriend, and we had been together for two years officially on the 26th of April. We spent the day with in Branson, MO with my family for my cousin’s first birthday, which happens to fall on the same day. We spent some time working on the house that we are planning on moving into within the next month or so, and managed to score a couch and love seat for $100. Then, I went and visited one of my friends who just got back from being honorably discharged from the army, and stayed up all night writing music like we did when we was still in 9th grade. Also finally managed to get a double pedal, have been trying to get my hands on one since i sold my DW 7000, was given a Sabian Alu Bell as well. 

hopefully i can score this job, registering for my classes today, and soon will finally have my own place with my girlfriend, and will be starting on my own studio within the next few weeks. i’m ready to make something out of myself, life is good, couldn’t be more stoked right now.

I had such a great day with my man.

first off before i get asked, the answer is no. i have not had any modification done to my ears besides stretching my lobes, i have naturally pointed elf ears. went thrift store shopping today, bought some flannels. after two years, we’re still as silly together as we were at day one. :)

this is a photo that i edited of my favorite person in the entire world, my great grandmother, my granny grunt. i remember when i was young, and she could run just fast as me while in her 70’s, and we would always pick plumbs from her plumb tree. i spent the majority of my childhood with this woman, and she talks about changing my diapers everytime she sees me. i haven’t seen her in such a long time because of living situations, and it honestly breaks my heart to go see her in the nursing home that she’s in because she has alzheimer’s and can’t really remember who i am. i remember when she first started to lose her memory, and when we’d talk, i’d say “granny, you just asked me that a few minutes ago” not fully understanding what was wrong with her. her response was always, “well, you know i’m getting old and i can’t help it, i just don’t remember things like i used to.” She’s probably my biggest role model, because she has always been so classy. Everyday she still wears outfits that were popular from the 40’s-70’s, and will not wear anything else, unless it’s her night robe. i honestly love the fact that she’s still alive, and even though she has alzheimer’s, she’s still full of personality, and she doesn’t like it but i always tickle her when i see her just to crack up over her reaction. my favorite person in the entire world, hands down.
